About ASA EU

Anton Lezhja is Vice-President of ASA EU Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers.

Anton is the Director of Valuation and Modelling team at Deloitte Albania and Kosovo. Furthermore he also serves as a reviewer for valuation engagements in Central Europe. Although Anton is specialized in valuation and modeling, his wealth of experience includes Public-Private Partnerships, privatizations, mergers and acquisitions, feasibility studies, business plans as well as lecturing and facilitating for Deloitte and International Institute of Business Valuers (IIBV). Anton has led projects in a number of countries in Central Europe and Balkan.

Anton holds real estate license from Albania’s and Kosovo’s institutions, and he has completed the ASA education for valuation of machinery and equipment.

Anton is a member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He is also member of the Albanian Society of Real Estate Appraisers.

Anton holds a Corporate Finance Qualification from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Bohuslav Cernousek is a Senior Manager and co-leader of Valuation practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers Czech Republic. Bohuslav is Accredited Senior Appraiser with 13 years of experience in the field of valuation. He has done valuation of businesses, company shares, tangible & intangible assets and properties and also valuation for a variety of commercial, tax or financial reporting reasons.During his career he has gathered an extensive experience in valuation methodology and best practice.

In the past Bohuslav has also acted as a Finance Strategy Manager for CR & SR in Tesco and in another Big4 company.

Bob has a masters degree from Finance at Banska University in Ostrava.

Gérard Deterne has been an Accredited Senior Appraiser – Machinery & Technical Specialties – Helicopters, for some years now. He is also a member of the American Society of Appraisers.

As an economist by training, Gérard Deterne formed PTERON Valuations in 2021 with the intent to build new valuation services upon many years of experience as a Business Developer in the aerospace industry.

Prior to creating PTERON Valuations, Gérard worked for Airbus Helicopters in Marignane, France, where he developed inhouse appraisal & valuation expertise, put together marketing campaigns towards lessors and lenders, engineered lease-based projects, organized briefings and webinars for the investors community and promoted sales boosters in support of the helicopter lessor’s business and the banking community.

Gérard has also worked in the UAV Business Unit at Airbus Defense & Space where he contributed to the development of the drone and UAV business while managing all aspects of market analysis and UAV asset management strategies.

In 1990, Mr Deterne joined Matra Defence to put together industrial cooperations and technology transfers in support of missile export sales in Europe, Asia and America.

In 2000, upon the creation of EADS which has now become the Airbus Group, Mr Deterne went to work in the newly formed Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance Operational Unit of Airbus to establish the practical terms of the cooperation between Airbus and Israel Aircraft Industries to develop and promote MALE UAV’s in Europe.

Late 2006, Mr Deterne joined the helicopter branch of Airbus to become part of the helicopter Business Development team. His main focus has been helicopter leasing and helicopter valuations with the view to always secure and enhance the value of Airbus Helicopters customers’ assets.

Evžen Körner is Vice President of the European Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.

Evžen is a Director at Duff & Phelps leading the fixed assets valuation team in the Central Europe. Evžen specializes in the valuation of industrial property and machinery and equipment but his working experience includes also valuation of industrial real estate, financial valuation and valuation of intangible assets.

Over the past twenty years, Evžen has developed his experience amongst a broad range of business needs including mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocations, divestitures, pre-transaction valuation analysis, valuation for leasing transactions, various accounting and tax purposes, fresh start accounting for bankruptcy emergence, due diligence support, litigation, restructuring, and insurance and risk management. Evžen has undertaken and managed valuation and consulting engagements in a large variety of industries on all continents and has provided appraisal services in more than 50 countries.

Evžen holds a Master degree in technology from the Czech Technical University (CVUT), Prague and M.B.A. in technology management from Open University, UK. is a member of American Society of Appraisers (ASA), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), European Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts (EACVA), and The Association of German Engineers (VDI).

Isaac joined Duff & Phelps (formerly American Appraisal) in 2006 as Fixed Assets Valuation Analyst, He is now the director of the Fixed Assets Valuation Practice, Valuation Advisory Service and FAMIS.

Professional Experience:

In his professional activity acts as the team’s responsible for the Fixed Assets Valuation Services (Real Property, Machinery and Equipment and Personal Property). Isaac has been involved in the valuation of a diverse range of businesses and asset types, encompassing mainly industrial, hospitality and commercial property, machinery and equipment and for multiple purposes (privatization, purchase price allocation, insurance, financing, M&A, strategic advisory, accounting and tax).

Isaac’s consulting expertise includes managing and undertaking tangible fixed asset valuations for national and multinational enterprises across a variety of industries including Food & Beverages, Paper, Packaging & Graphic Arts, Ports & Airports, Government, Chemical Industry, Metalwork & Mining, Utilities, Automotive Industry and Real Estate.

Before joining Duff & Phelps, Isaac works as Real Estate valuer at Gesvalt Spain.

Isaac was educated as an architect and has continued his education with various other professional engineering and valuation courses.

Aleksandra Petrovic is a Director in the Financial Advisory Services department (FAS) at Deloitte Serbia. As a Valuation and Modeling Team Leader, her present role entails responsibilities for the engagements related to valuation and dispute services. She is specialized in business valuation, intangible assets valuation, dispute valuations, including profit and loss calculations and damages computations, price allocations, impairment testing, reviews of the third parties appraisal, restructuring and corporate finance.

Milena Kosi is a representative of the American Society of Appraisers in Slovenia.

She is an authorized business appraiser by the Slovenian Institute for Auditors. Since 2002 she is a member of American Society of Appraisers and holds ASA-BV and ASA-ARM designation. As well Milena is a member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

She is highly qualified Senior Business Appraiser offering more than 25 years of appraisal experience within the capital markets and business valuation. She gained experience in Corporate Finance division of Investment Banking Department in Nova Ljubljanska banka d.d., later as project manager in KPMG Slovenija and for the past 15 years she is the general manager and owner of the company M.Kabinet, business valuation and consulting, d.o.o.

She is highly qualified Senior Business Appraiser offering more than 25 years of appraisal experience within the capital markets and business valuation. Ludmila Simonova is Vice-President for Ukraine in the European Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.

Ms. Simonova, President and partner of IRE (Ukraine) LLC. Ms. Simonova is a Senior Certified Member of the ASA since 2007. She is a Certified Ukrainian Appraiser and a founding member and Chair of the Standards and Methodology Committee of the Ukrainian Society of Appraisers and a Practicing Affiliate of the U.S. Appraisal Institute.

Ms. Simonova holds a Candidate of Technical Sciences (Ph.D.) degree in Civil Engineering. She specializes in the valuation of assets for international financial reporting, real estate and due diligence for investment projects. During the last 20 years, she has personally worked on over 250 large big appraisal projects in Ukraine, Russia and other countries. Ms. Simonova is a member the Working Group for the ongoing development of Ukrainian National appraisal standards and was the lead author of Ukraine’s National Standards of Appraising.

Ms. Simonova regularly teaches professional seminars, drafts methodological procedures and advises the Ukrainian Government on regulations and the development of the appraisal industry in Ukraine. She is the author of numerous articles and reports, for publication and presentation at international conferences, on problems of valuation in challenging markets and transitional economies. She co-developed two advanced international appraisal courses for the U.S. Appraisal Institute.
